RESTAURANT |
At Nabana Lodge we are privileged to have not one but two internationally trained chefs, Liesl & Paul Shepheard. Both having received their qualifications in England, Liesl and Paul have much experience in catering for occasions such as banquets, both small and large weddings and private dining. Head chef: Paul John Shepheard Paul completed his studies in Stratford upon Avon – England where he studied for four years at the acclaimed Stratford College. NVQ level 1.2 & 3, in Kitchen and Larder, and Level 3 in Patisserie. In his third year at college Paul did some work at Café Royal in London where he cooked under the highly praised Herbert Burger (Executive Head Chef). Paul also cooked at numerous charity events, cooking with the likes of Brian Turner and also worked with the National Chef of the year in England, Steve Love on a few occasions.

We have had repeated requests for a monthly Gourmet Lunch Club. The next lunch is on 24 November 2011 at 12h00. Not only does it give you an opportunity to enjoy a great six course meal, but also to socialize with friends in our relaxed atmosphere. Our head chef, Paul Shepheard is already renowned in the area and this gives him the opportunity for true creative expression of his skills. I have attached the menu for your perusal. FARM STALL
On the road and with easy access from the lodge is the Nabana Market Stall. Here we stock local fruit fresh from the farms in the area. Though not without possible skin blemishes no lengthy storage in cold rooms guarantees freshness, great taste and value for money.

December through to March is mango season with Tommy Atkins variety first followed by the deliciously sweet Heidis.
Litchis is the Christmas gift from nature and only available for 2 to 3 weeks from the third week of December.
Avos abound from March through to August every year with citrus available during the winter season when the vitamin C is so needed.
With a variety of bottling and other crop producers in the area this is where you find delicacies such as avo oils and skincare products, macadamia oils and coffee from Sabie Valley. |

Numerous pickles and preserves are stocked, from the unusual Nastergal and Stamvrug konfyt to pickled garlic and of course our famous home-made peri-peri sauce. Fresh fruit rolls and conveniently packaged nuts add to your selection.

This monthly event has become very popular and is a great oppertunity to socialise with neighbours and friends. Head Chef Paul Shepheard and Guest Chef Ian Tupper are preparing four mouth-watering curries, ranging from mild to hot for you to sample.

Senior Citizins Lunch 30 September 2011 at 12h00
Treating our valued senior citizens to a wholesome two course meal at R50.00 per person with a third course free.

Biker's Poker Run
Thyme Restaurant at Nabana Lodge is providing the breakfast for this popular annual event. A substantial breakfast buffet will be served at a cost of R60.00 per person.
Biker's day-jol
To thank our bikers for their regular support a biker's day-jol is planned for 5 November 2011 where the lodge will be exclusively available to the biking fraternaty. Good food, drinks specials and live entertainment by Springstof is on the cards. We look forward to entertaining you guys and girls! |

DIRECTIONS |
Follow the N4 all the way to Nelspruit. Turn Left on the R40 when entering Nelspruit, towards White River.
Follow this road through White River and turn left again still on the R40 towards Hazyview. Follow this road for about 45km, Nabana Lodge will then be on your Right
