The main house was designed by Sir Herbert Baker, as a country retreat for a pioneering mining magnate.
The history of White River and the Lowveld is reflected in the original wooden trusses under the the vaulted ceilings. Guests can relax in the homely atmosphere of either the two lounges or on the vibrant teracced tropical and indigenous gardens which surround the manor.

Daybreak at Glory Hill brings wonderful opportunities for guests to explore the Kruger Park.
Travel to Pilgrims Rest and experience the history and tradition of the "Gold Rush" days. Look out over "God's Window" and "Wonder View" and see the beautiful views overlooking the Lowveld.
The Panorama Route awaits you and Bourkes Luck Potholes, Three Rondawels as well as the Blyde River Canyon, will delight you with scenic beauty.

Return after a fun filled and exciting day to relax at our guest bar and observation deck. Here you can relive your day and relax after a real Panorama Route experience.
Enjoy the sunset with your favourite cocktail and share your day with other guests.
Dinner is a gourmet experience at Glory Hill and our cooking is an experience to enjoy.

Glory Hill Manor is jealously reserved for a maximum of twelve guests.
Our B & B is tastefully furnished and Glory Hill Country Manor's comfortable and private rooms with all the amenities and en-suite facilities are set in beautiful gardens, to provide you with the best of comfortable affordable tourist accommodation.

Our facilities include a swimming pool, country walks as well as gardens that offer a delightful variety of birdlife for "Bird Watchers".
There is a TV lounge for the hooked Soapy followers as well as Sport Fans.
A short distance away are shops for the bargain hunters and also the lovers of curios including a gourmet choclate shop with, can you believe it "Health Chocolate".

The Lowveld's "Barnyard Theatre" provides a wide choice of entertainment right around the corner.

WHERE ARE WE? :

From Johannesburg, travel east on the N4 to Nelspruit.
Turn left at Crossings onto the R40 to White River.
Proceed through White River and at Casterbridge Farm turn right onto the R538 to Numbi Gate.
After Hotel The Winkler, our sign is on the right hand side.
